Mastering A Project

Definition A body of work where the sound and level of each track is mastered to have a relationship with all the other tracks in the same project. ie- an Album, EP or Single.

Specification Overview the whole project, followed by the exploration of different methods of mastering for the best approach. Mastering all tracks followed by an overview of the work done.
Tracks are supplied as 16bit CD .aif files.
If required, compile and run a CD for approval and then the Red Book PMCD, Exabyte or DDP Image for manufacture.

Vinyl If tracks are also for vinyl release we may recommend separately mastering with a different approach to that of the CD.

Mastering By Track

Definition Individual tracks mastered for their own optimum sound and level. If a collection of tracks are supplied for this service the sounds and levels may not relate to each other. i.e. one-off tracks, downloads, video, library and promo.

Specification Compare to similar genre released material for sound & level comparison. Master, top & tail and deliver as either finished 16bit .aif data file on CDR, DVD, ftp, or audio CDR.
If both data and audio CDR required, data is included in the price, audio CDR is extra.
Please note, in the event of tracks being required to match each other, the whole session will be treated as a project and priced accordingly.
